The limits of variation for features within your device.
In an ideal world, every feature in a microfluidic device would match the exact dimensions of our intended design. However, every manufacturing process will produce parts that vary slightly from the designed geometry. We guarantee that every transition molded device will be within the limits listed below. If your application requires tighter tolerances, .
The cross-sectional dimensions of any molded microfeature will have a tolerance of either ±20 µm or ±10%, whichever is greater.
Larger dimensions of molded features – such as channel lengths or via-to-via positions – will have a tolerance of ±125 µm.
All machined features – such as the fluidic layer's outer dimensions orr a via’s machined portion – will have a dimensional tolerance of ±125 µm.
The flatness tolerance for the device’s cap surface of all devices will be within 100 µm.
