Josh co-founded Parallel Fluidics in 2020 with Andy Harris. Previously, Josh built Parallel Design, an engineering consulting business that solved complex mechanical problems for customers in the microfluidic, custom industrial automation, and robotics industries. Josh also served as Lead Engineer at Emulate, where he was responsible for the mechanical design of their first commercial organ-on-chip microfluidic consumable and instrument.
Earlier in his career, Josh helped bring products such as point-of-care microfluidic consumables and DNA electrophoresis systems from concept to reality as a Mechanical Engineer at Fikst. He is an inventor on more than 10 patents granted and pending and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
