Duncan joined Parallel Fluidics in 2022. Duncan is an engineer specializing in microfluidics, manufacturing, and precision machine design. His background includes research in soft robotics, automation, applied heat transfer, and flow cytometer design. Most recently, Duncan conducted research at MIT developing Organ-on-a-Chip systems with integrated micropumps and other fluid control elements. He applies his interests in thermoplastic materials and advanced fabrication methods to the assembly of complex microfluidic devices and components. Duncan holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.
